Rosé di Montemaggio is made from a 100% Sangiovese . However, the grapes for this wine are harvested prematurely in September, in order to achieve high acidity and fresh fruity taste. The selection of grapes for this wine are as thorough as for other wines of Montemaggio.
After the young juice goes into the steel vessels, the contact of the juice and the skins (seeds) takes only 12 hours. After which the skins and the seeds are removed from the juice. Then goes the fermentation of the young wine at 18°C in steel tanks.
Rosé di Montemaggio, has a vivid rose colour, fruity bouquet, full and refreshing taste, with a high acidity.
Perfect in summer time or at lunch thank to the low alcohol (10,5%) and its freshness and lightness.
To be served very cold.
