At Montemaggio, we are happy to offer Authentic Tuscan Culinary EXPERIENCE and Wine Pairing to our guests. We have a chef in house that will assist you in learning how to prepare traditional Tuscan dishes while you are visiting Chianti Classico area. If you enjoy Italian food and are interested in learning the art of cooking, this is the right opportunity for you!
You will cook under the expert guidance of our chef in a very friendly and informal atmosphere. Cooking class will last approximately two hours, but the duration will largely depend on your chosen menu. Further on, while your lunch is being prepared, you will have an opportunity to do a wine tour with an explanation of the working process in the vineyard and in the cellar, walk through the garden and view of the vegetable garden. The degustation of our best wines will be incorporated into your cooking class and lunch. The attention we give to the quality of what we produce is transferred also to the selection of the products we use for our cooking classes. We only choose fresh and organic local products, preferably from our own vegetable garden, when the season permits. Otherwise, we have a number of local partners with which we share the same philosophy, passion and love for our land where we buy some of our organic products.
At the end of the class, you will eat what you have prepared in a wonderful setting!
If you would like to book a cooking class and find out all the secrets about Tuscan cuisine, contact us and let us know the date and how many people* you will come with!
* A minimum of 5 participants is required to organize a cooking class (not available on weekends and festivities).
