Grappa di Montemaggio

This Grappa di Montemaggio is produced by one of the most famous distillery in  Italy -  ' Distillerie Berta", exclusively for Fattoria di Montemaggio. Grappa di Montemaggio is a steam-distilled product, that has been obtained via meticulous selection of grape pomaces, that producedin Montemaggio. The quality of grape pomaces and the assortment of different grapes provide this grappa with an austere and elegant personality. 

The grapes are produced on the altitude of 600 meters above the sea level and picked by hand during each harvest.

This Grappa is made according to all the traditions of distillation and vinification, applying modern techniques in agronomy, using only selected grapes of a very high quality.

 Thus from an excellent grapes of Sangiovese comes an excellent grappa: with a crystal colour, warm and soft taste, invigorating and persistent smell, with the hints of wild forest and autumn berries.
